Veterinary Assistant

Megan joined the Lake Wissota team in July of 2024, after graduating from UW-River Falls with a bachelor’s degree in animal science. She participated in FFA, where she showed and worked with pigs. She also gained experience working at a dairy goat farm before joining Lake Wissota. At home she has a rescue dog that is mystery breed named Reba; she also has siblings Morty and Winnie which are Pug mixes that have stolen her heart with their winkles and fun noises. Megan enjoys being with family and friends, traveling and reading when she isn’t working. Her favorite thing about working at Lake Wissota is learning something new every day, with vet med there is something new learn every day. “Life was like a box of chocolates.
