Veterinary Technician & Cat Friendly Practice Advocate

Caitlyn began working at Lake Wissota Animal Hospital in December 2020. She graduated from the University of Wisconsin- Eau Claire with a bachelor’s degree in art and design. Her next steps lead to a TEFL/TESOL certification and attending UW-Oshkosh earning a science teaching license. Her passion for vet med led to volunteering abroad in Costa Rica at an animal rescue and most recently some clinical work with large and exotic animals at a rescue in Idaho. She graduated with a veterinary technician associate’s degree from Penn Foster in 2024. Caitlyn is also a member of the Chippewa Humane Association board of directors. She will be attending Veterinarian school at UW-Madison in the fall of 2024.

Caitlyn grew up on a farm near Stanley and still has farming as a part of her daily life. She loves to be outdoors and do activities such as photography, volleyball, kayaking, hiking, geocaching, gardening, volunteering and running marathons and obstacle courses. Caitlyn lives near Augusta with her 2 Golden Retrievers, her disabled kitty, several other cats and a large pond full of koi and goldfish.
