Veterinary Technician

Compassionate and fun 2 doctor practice in Lake Wissota, Wisconsin is looking for an experienced veterinary technician to add to our team. Duties include extensive client education, assisting in surgery, dental prophys, radiographs, performing lab tests, placing IV catheters, phlebotomy and more.

Hours are 7:45am-5:30pm, 4 days per week. (schedule will be set, so work/days off will be consistent.) and 1-2 Saturday mornings per month.

Benefits: paid vacation, paid personal days, veterinary care benefits. Wage is dependent on experience and certification. Minimum of 2 years experience as a veterinary technician preferred.

Must be able to be on feet for up to 10 hours and lift 50# unassisted. Exceptional communication skills—both verbal and written—are a must. Strong ability to multitask. Strong attention to detail.

Preferred experience with Impromed software, CVT preferred, but not required.

Receptionist

Seeking a self-motivated, enthusiastic individual to join our exceptional veterinary team in the Chippewa Valley. Part/Full time positions available in this progressive small animal hospital. 25-30 hours per week, including every other Saturday morning. Applicant must have excellent customer service skills and enjoy working with people and their beloved pets.

Kennel Attendant

Duties include but are not limited to: providing daily care for boarding pets (mainly dogs and cats), maintaining a clean work environment for both staff and pets, administering medications as needed, exercising boarding dogs, completing baths and nail trimmings, monitoring boarding pets for behavioral and medical issues and cleaning duties such as sweeping, mopping, laundry, scrubbing kennels, picking up stool outside, and many other cleaning duties. EXCELLENT communication to other teammates and clients is a MUST. Finally, must be able to work in all outdoor conditions as a large portion of your shift will be spent outside.
