FAQs

What are your appointment policies?

Appointments are required for any surgical, medical, or annual exams. For emergencies that occur during our operating hours, please note that we do not have a walk-in service available, but we will do our best to triage emergencies on a case-by-case basis. For after-hour emergencies we do provide over-the-phone consultations through a second party, but if it should be addressed you can call Allied Emergency at 715-529-5900.

What is your payment policy?

Full payment is due at the time of services. We accept cash, care credit, checks, Visa, MasterCard, and Discover.

Does my pet need to be in a carrier or leashed?

For the safety of all pets on our premises we do require them to leashed or in a carrier while they are on the property. If you do not have a leash/carrier, please call the clinic once you arrive and we can bring one out to you.

Do you have a cancellation policy?

We’re all human and we completely understand that life happens! If you know ahead of time that you will not be able to make your scheduled appointment, we ask that you give us as much advanced notice as possible. However, we pride ourselves on being able to provide care to as many pets as we can. If there are 2 missed appointments, we will require pre-payment for future exams/surgeries upon scheduling.

What should I do If my pet is having surgery at your clinic?

We do require a pre-operative exam if we have never met your pet before. This allows us to get acquainted with them prior to their stay! On the day of surgery, we ask that bring your pet between 8-8:30am for check in. At that time, you will sign a consent form and the doctor performing the surgery will briefly talk with you regarding the procedure.

Please remember to withhold any food after midnight the night prior, however water does not need to be taken away!

What do I do if I am running behind?

If you are running behind for your scheduled appointment, we ask that you please call the clinic to let us know. Typically, we can still see your animal if you are no later than 10 minutes, however, the receptionist will be able to let you know what we can do depending on our schedule for that day.

Are you taking on new clients?

We are always accepting new clients/pets!

Do you see exotics?

Yes! We provide care for rabbits, mice, hamsters, guinea pigs, rats, lizards, ferrets, bearded dragons, chinchillas, and hedgehogs. We do not provide care for any large animals, birds, or snakes. If you do not see your pet on this list, please call and we can let you know if we will provide care.
